The Easter camp hosted between Shelmalier Coiste na nOg & Shelmalier St Ibars Camogie, was a huge success.
A total 63 boys and girls came along to enjoy fun games and of course skills in both hurling/camogie & football. Well done to all involved in so many ways. Everything was done by our own mentors, players and parents; it was great to see so many come together in such a positive and uplifting way for our club. Both Chairmen Noel Feeney & Alan Ahearne were delighted with the contributions made by their members together and indeed the amount of help that our young Minors & Juveniles put in. On finishing the camp each child was presented with a well-deserved Easter egg, by Ciara Donohoe, to great delight. Thanks must go to our attendants for excellent behaviour, to their parents for support this fundraiser and to the following who helped with organising, coaching, assisting, making sambos, break time duty or in any other way; Sheila Roche, Patricia Fielding, Martin Doyle, Ann-Marie Whelan, John Banville, Bobby Delaney, Noel Roche, Murt Hanrahan, Padraig Coone, Colm Tynan, Mag Cullen, Jackie O’Leary, Mick Garry, Daniel Furlong, Michael Feeney, Glen Malone, Cian Manley, Aaron Murphy, Bryan Kehoe, Jody Donohoe, Shauna Kelly, Maeve Doyle, Dervla Potter, Enda Cloake, Eadaoin Fitzgerald, Roisin Tobin. Special Thanks to Kate Kelly who also visited and gave some words of wisdom to our youngest players.
