The Shelmaliers GAA Club would like to thank all who supported our recent fund raiser, the dog night in Enniscorthy.
Despite the very bad weather there was a good turnout and a great night was had by all. Mygsy’s tips on the night proved to be most popular and despite a slow start money was to be made by people who took heed. Indeed we are reliably informed a big killing was made on the last race for those who followed his forecasts.
Megan Kenny was the winner of €150 prize on lines sold and Tanya Harpur, Tagoat was judged to best dressed lady on the night.
Thanks to all who gave their time beforehand and on the night. Also thanks to all the people who sold the adverts, raffle tickets and the lines, and who helped in any way to make the night a great success.
