Best of luck to Croker bound Ladies Footballers !

Shelmalier supporters head to Croke Park again but this time to support the ladies football team.

Wexford ladies football team head for Croke Park this Sunday to play in the All-Ireland Intermediate Football final.
After great support for the Wexford camogie team just two weeks ago, strong support is expected for the girls as they aim to bring another All-Ireland title to the county.

The St Ibar/Shelmaliers club was well represented on the senior camogie team and this Sunday will once again see the Shelmalier club represented on final day.
All the All-Ireland winning camogie players from St Ibars are on the team ! These include Kate Kelly, Bridget Curran, Michelle Hearne, Mag Kelly and Shelly Doyle.
In addition, Leona Tector, Maeve Quill, Deirdre MacMahon, Deirdre Fox, Tara Maloney, Kim Maloney, Catherine Doyle, Nikki Scallan and Laura Corrigan are all part on the team.

Six of the girls will start on Sunday : Leona Tector and Shelly Doyle play in the backline, Deirdre Fox is part of the mid field pairing, with Kate Kelly, Mag Kelly and Michelle Hearne lining out in the forward line.

Best of the luck to the Ladies Footballers, and the management team which includes Pat Quill, in their bid to bring another All-Ireland title to the county.
