The boys from Screen, Curracloe and Castlebridge make up the Shelmaliers under 10 teams. This year the play is to focus on developing  the skills of the young players and play plenty of practice matches throughout the year. We will be entering teams in the Pat Neville hurling tournament which is run in the Go Games format, we will also be playing some blitzes. In football we will be playing in the Kent Stainless tournament and also in the Sarsfields tournament.
So far this year we have played some practice matches and it is great to see the young lads in action on the field. At the end of May we took part in the hurling on the Quay weekend in Wexford town. This event was organized to promote hurling as an exciting and fun game. Great fun was had by all who participated.
The under 10 hurling and football supervisors this year are Brian Galvin, Noel Feeney, Francis Neville, Patricia Potter, Pat Whelan and Eamonn Manley.
Best of luck to Dylan Potter and Jodie Donohoe who are part of the Castlebridge/Crossabeg under 11 hurling team who play John Lockes of Kilkenny in the next round of the Community games hurling finals.
We also wish Joseph Redmond a speedy recovery from his foot injury.
