On Wednesday night of last week the boys and girls Indoor Soccer teams were in action in Bunclody against teams from Carlow ( First round matches)  The boys Under 13 team took on a team from Slaney Valley.  The Wexford team controlled for most of the game, although they did give away a penalty within ten seconds of the game starting,  but from there on outclassed their opponents and won out on a 4-1 scoreline with Stephen McGuire (3) and Adam Whitmore (1) scoring for Castlebridge/Crossabeg.  Their girls Under 15 team took on a team from Borris. This was a close enough game with the sides 0-0 at half time, however, the Wexford team did not perform up to expectations on the night and the Carlow team grew in confidence in the second half and won out on a 2-0 scoreline.   Best of luck to the boys team who will be taking on a team from Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny in their second round match.
