St Ibar/Shelmalier camogie club held their AGM on Friday last in Furlong’s Curracloe.
The AGM was well attended. Following the reports from the officers for last year, the meeting was addressed by Brendan Fox and Pat Quill of the Shelmalier Ladies football club, Noel Ryan of the Shelmalier Club and Larry Banville from the Development committee.
Although 2006 last not a very successful one on the playing pitch, all are hoping for a more rewarding 2007. The club was praised for their collection of €1000 for the Cancer Care Unit at Wexford Hospital.
The officers elected for the coming year were : Chairperson Peggy Kelly, Vice Chairperson Kate Kelly, Secretary Sharon Drennan, Assistant Secretary Janice Gordon, Treasurer Mairead Potter, Assistant Treasurer Barry Hearne, PRO Kathleen Dooley, Assistant PRO Sinead Kelly.
The managers of the various teams were also elected : Senior & Junior Denis Kelly, U18 Kate Kelly, U16 Barry Hearne, U14 Sinead Kelly, U12 Kathleen Dooley, U10 John Kelly and U8 Angie Hearne.

Due to the up coming panto in Screen Hall, indoor camogie will take a break and recommence on Tuesday 20th February, 7 to 8pm.
