The Jim Byrne winning minor football team visited London over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and after an enjoyable and exhausting weekend the team and mentors returned home on bank holiday Monday. During their stay the team went on a guided tour of the city and played the London Minor footballers in a match which they easily won. They were warmly welcomed by the Father Murphy’s club which has Curracloe gael David Donohoe at the helm. The team and mentors would like to thank the Fr. Murphy’s club and in particular David Donohoe, Pat Doyle and Phil Roche. The team and mentors would also like to thank the parents, the sponsors and all the people who supported the various fund raising events which made this trip possible.
