Shelmalier Take on Clonee in the Senior Championship Final

Best Wishes to the Shelmalier Ladies Senior team as they take on Clonee in the County Final on Saturday next 4th September in Belfield throw in at 5 pm. The game is being preceeded by the Shield Final - Adamstown Vs Kilmore at 3 pm.

The Half time entertainment features an exibition game between Shelmalier and Taghmon Gaelic for mothers Squads.

The Club would encourage everyone to come out and support the girls in their quest for County Honors.

 
Eddie Kehoe wins Bronze in European Transplant Games

Congratulations to Eddie Kehoe on Winning a Bronze medal in the 400m Final Today in the European Transplant Games currently being hosted in Ireland.  

Eddie has a busy week of Athletics ahead of him on Monday last he finished a respectable 5th in the 5k run. Tomorrow he goes in the 200m  following on later in the Day he will line out to represent his Country in the Relay event.

The Shelmalier Ladies Football Club would like to Wish Team Captain Shauna Murphy and colleagues  Siobhan Cloake, Ciara Neville,Megan Smith and Hannah Duggan and Club Mentor Andrew Furlong best wishes as they bid for All Ireland Glory V Mayo in the All Ireland U16B Championship Final  on Saturday 21st August  time and Venue to  be confirmed.

U14 Match Report Shelmalier V Kilmore 1-4 to 1-1

We had lost our previous match to the Martins, having won the previous four handsomely. Therefore it was with a certain determination to recover lost ground that we headed south on a sunny evening which was perfect for football. We had some enforced positional changes on the team due to holidays and injuries, so either way this game was going to be a learning experience.
