Training continues on Monday evenings from 6 to 7 pm. Remember to bring everything you need for training including, hurl, helmet and gumshield. Any new players who would like to start or players who haven’t been for a while are welcome.

Thanks as well to Enda, Stephen, Cian and Aaron, the minors who helped out at training last week and in the complex earlier in the year. We really appreciate the help and you are welcome to come back any time.

U8’s New Rules

New GAA rules state that every player must wear a gumshield for football. We will have both hurling and football training for u7s and u8s on Monday

So can the boys make sure to bring gumshields as well as hurling gear. If they forget their gumshield they won’t be able to take part in the football part of training. Thanks.

U8 Footballers V St. Mary’s Rosslare

u8The Shelmaliers U8 Footballers Played a very entertaining match against St Mary’s Rosslare on Saturday Morning,

It was a great Team Performance with Alex, Joe and Evan H accounting for the Early Scores. Tom, Evan G and Jack were keeping the scores down at the other end with some fine defending.
The Game was close throughout the first half, and then some slick passing led to further scores from Colm, Tom, Conor and a diving header from Owen. St Marys also took some fine scores but the Shels came out winners in the end. More photos in Photos- Football 2013.

U8 Footballers

Tom Kicked loads of long clearances from the backs to Colm and Evan in the forwards, who were winning great balls. all the boys got to play in a number of positions and they all did really well. Next week is Hurling Keep up the good work Lads.
