Junior Hurling Final

The Shelmalier junior hurlers take on Gusserane in the county junior hurling final on Sunday next 16th October in Wexford Park starting at 1-30pm.

The game is followed by the senior hurling final between Oulart/Ballagh against Cloughbawn. This is the second year in a row that the junior hurlers have appeared in the final having narrowly lost to Taghmon last years final. However, this group of players have has shown great determination and commitment throughout the year both in training and in the matches they have played so far this year. We wish captain Kevin O Leary and his fellow team members together with selectors Kenny Hearne, Paudie McMahon and Darren Shiggins, every success in the final and the club would ask as many people as possible to come along to Wexford Park to support the team in the final.
