Annual Shelmalier 1910 Mass

There was a large attendance at the annual Shelmalier GAA Clubs 1910 memorial mass, in memory of all deceased members & supporters which was held in Castlebridge on Sunday last.

Club Chairperson Seamus O Leary welcomed all those present and he spoke about how the people of this parish have attended this event for over 70 years and it was great credit to those who have continued to recognise the important role played by these members and supporters in the development of the club. Club President Fr Denis Kelly performed the wreath laying ceremony after the mass, highlighted the important role played by the Shelmalier GAA Club in social and personal development of so many young boys and girls in this area and the club continues to be a major focus for so much activities in the parish of Castlebridge and he wished the club every success in the future.
