our Under 16’s are concentrating on studying
now with the Junior cert approaching, although training continues under the guidance of John Harding, Mick Lanigan and Mary O’Leary. The next game away to Crannford-Monaseed on June 19th will be changed as our opponents are representing Wexford in the All-Ireland Féile in Ulster two day later.
Our Under 14 team still have the league to concentrate on, with their next game down for decision on June 14th away to Glynn/Barntown. The County Board will also re-fix last Saturday’s match at home to St Martin’s which was postponed due to a blitz involving the Wexford County team.
The girls have something extra to look forward to on Saturday, June 21st when they travel to Kilkenny to take part in the regional Féile blitz along with the second-placed teams from the following seven counties; Clare, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Tipperary. This will be a great opportunity for them to test their ability against other strong sides, and it will also be an enjoyable day out!
