Great win for Rackard league camogie

Fantastic win over Adamstown 8-0 to nil on Thursday, May 15th in Hollymount

Our gallant Rackard League girls had a very impressive 8-0 to nil win over Adamstown in their second outing.

Mentors Ann Dempsey (Screen N.S.) and Amanda Bolger (Castlebridge N.S.) had their charges in fine fettle and they improved a great deal from the previous week’s loss to Taghmon. The girls had first use of the breeze and led by 3-0 to nil at half-time, with a Chloe Murphy goal sandwiched in between two efforts from Ailis Neville, the first from a free. It was a very busy week for Ailis as she was wing-forward for the Under-14s on Monday and goalkeeper for the Under-16s on Wednesday.

She completed her hat-trick four minutes into the second-half, with Caitríona Kinsella, Alison Doyle and Hannah Hearne also rattling the net while Ailis managed to get a fourth. Well done girls on a very good win and thanks for putting a smile back on our faces after those disappointments earlier in the week!
