U16 County team- Semi Final/Final

Wishing Jody Donohoe, Joe Redmond and Enda Cloake all the best this evening in their respective games for Wexford.

Wexford’s U16 hurlers (mixed squad 1) had a great weekend qualifying for the Leinster semi-final on Wednesday in Carlow.

Wexford (mixed squad 1) topped their group on Saturday, beating Carlow and Galway in Kinnity in Offaly.IMG_9271

The semi-finals and final will be played at Carlow Hurling club grounds this Wednesday evening, Wexford  will play Laois at 7pm while Dublin play Offaly in the other semi-final.

The final will take place at 8pm with the two losers playing in a shield final. These games will be 20 minutes a half and we’re hoping that the lads will have good support on the night.

While of course these games are about experience, developing skills and resilience, it would be nice to take home some silverware…
