In doing so they have qualified to meet old rivals Crannford in the League Final on Saturday, 8th June at 1 pm in Farmleigh. Ibars played with a strong breeze in the first half, and were quick on the attack, an early point from Zoe O’Leary followed by a brilliant goal by Siobhan Doolan. Our two midfielders Zoe and Sarah in dominant form, Ibars scored four more points leaving halftime score at 1-5 to 0-0. Despite playing against the wind in the second half Jessie Harding scored a point, Gorey quickly responded with 0-2, but after a great save by Ailis Neville in the goal, Ibars finished very strongly with further scores from Jessie, Zoe and a great goal from Lauren Murphy to leave the final score 3-6 to 0-3.
