Coiste Na N’Og AGM

There was a large attendance at the Annual General Meeting of Shelmalier Coiste na nOg which took place in Hollymount on Monday night last.

Chairman Noel Feeney welcomed everybody and thanked the large number of members who helped ensure a successful year for underage teams in the club. Noel also thanked all his fellow officers for their hard work during and particularly those who were stepping down this year. Secretary Donal Power gave a detailed report on the clubs activates during the year with all teams performing exceptionally well in their respective leagues. Treasurer Bobby Delaney gave an extensive financial report and thanked everybody for ensuring that all fundraising events were successful. Senior club Chairman Seamus O Leary praised everybody in Coiste na nOg for the great work in not only the coaching and the promotion of Gaelic games but also in personal development of all underage players under their care.
In the election the following were elected for 2013: Chairman Noel Feeney, Secretary Colm Tynan, Treasurer Bobby Delaney, Vice Chairman Eamonn Manley, Assistant Secretary Donal Power, Assistance Treasurer Sheila Roche, Coaching and Games Development Martin Doyle, PRO Marie Howlin, Registrar Murt Hanrahan, Children’s Officer John Banville and Designated Person Eamonn McCarthy.
