The mass is in memory of not only the famous 1910 All Ireland winning team but all deceased member, players and officials of the club. Fr. Forde spoke of the importance of remembering such occasions and complimented the club in organising this event each year. Following the mass a wreath was laid at the 1910 monument by Kate Kelly and Jody Donohoe on behalf of all members of the club and Chairman Seamus O Leary remembered all past members and complimented all those present for marking the importance of such an occasion.
There was a large attendance at the Shelmalier GAA Clubs annual 1910 mass held in Castlebridge church on Sunday last.
