involving our own Shels boys as well as visiting teams from St. Martins, Glynn/Barntown and Oulart. All the boys had three games and the standard of hurling was of the highest order. The games were very close affairs with only a puck of a ball between them. Coiste Na Nog chairman Noel Feeney made a presentation of medals to all the boys involved after the hurling finished. Refreshments were then served to adults and kids alike. A big word of thanks to anybody who helped out in any way on the day, especially to the U16 boys for acting as referees, to our visiting teams and to all parents who made sandwiches/cakes/buns etc for the refreshments. UP THE SHELS.
Hollymount was the venue on Sunday morning for an U8 and U6 Hurling blitz
