Minors contest 3rd Final in a row

gmpolOur Minor Football team goes in search of glory this Sunday when they contest the Premier final in Wexford Park at 1:15pm.

This will be the Club’s third consecutive final with our boys going for back to back titles. Manager Aidan O Leary and Selector Michael Ryan have been in charge of all three teams and they are actually going for their third Minor Football Title having been involved with the victorious 2004 Team also. This year they are helped by Selectors Myles Doyle and Clive Lawlor. This team has already won Silverware this year with their great Byrne Cup win in February, our clubs fifth consecutive win in this competition. Our team is led by Captain Glen Murphy and Vice Captain Paraic O Leary and will have six Juvenile players involved. Training has been very intensive of late and our boys are really ready to go. The game will be the curtain raiser to the Senior Football final between Castletown and Horeswood. All in Hollymount wish the boys the very best of luck and hopefully we will all be celebrating come Sunday afternoon. Your support for our Minor team would be greatly appreciated and make a huge difference. See you in the Park on Sunday: More pics in Photos-Football 2011.
