Mixed Fortunes for U-14 Footballers.

Our under 14 footballers played two games recently in the championship,

narrowly beaten by the Volunteers in Hollymount followed up with an easy win away to Adamstown. The Vols game was a strange one with both sides playing their best football against a very strong breeze. The Shels were leading by two points at the break against the wind with some great play from Conor Hearne, Dylan Potter and Paul McCleane. The Vols had the better of the second half and ran out winners on a scoreline of 4 11 to 5 05. The game away to Adamstown was a one sided affair with the Shels boys proving too strong on the night.
