u14 Camogie

St.Ibars/Shelmaliers played Cloughbawn in the first round of the u14 Camogie league in Cloughbawn on Wednesday last.  The Ibars girls had a blistering start to the league.

The opening half saw the girls power into a 5-4 to 0-0 lead.  In the second half the girls continued their impressive start and finished with a 12-7 to 0-3 point win.  This was a great start to the league campaign for the girls who play Bannow/Ballymitty next Wednesday (27th April).  Megan made some great saves on the night to deny Cloughbawn any majors on the night.  The backs supplied great ball to the forwards who on the night were very impressive.  Well done to all.
