Walking Club

wcOut and about on a cold frosty day in December at the Raven Wood Curracloe.

Well done to all who braved the cold and the frost to complete the looped
walk at the Raven Wood Curracloe today December 19th 2010. Check out the photos
of the Raven Walk for today in the Photo-social 2010 section.

Mid week walks:
There will be no mid week walk this week.
Next Walk:

Our next walk will be next Sunday, St. Stephens Day at the Raven Wood Curracloe
at 11am, we would like to invite all families, pets and friends of club members
to attend as we intend to raise money for Cottage Autism Network/Goal,
the suggested donation is 1 Euro per km per adult. So please lets all get together
especially at Christmas and try to raise as much money as possible.

Gear:

As the Winter Months are now approaching, we would advise that all members
please purchase suitable rainwear and footwear.

Youth Section:

On the 31st October last we announced that the club is now open to youth members.
As we are affiliated with Mountaineering Ireland this means that our youth members
will be able to avail of the facilities at Sheilbaggan Outdoor Adventure Centre and
other facilities around the country, at keen rates….more on that later!
