U.10 v Blackwater
Saturday 17th April
Saturday 17th April, the u10 camogie team got the defence of their county title off to the best possible start with an 15gls to one goal victory over Blackwater.  A lot of winter indoor and early season outdoor training was well rewarded with this great victory. Well done to team Manager Paul Kenny, selector Mick Lanigan and the young girls.

U. 10 v Oylegate
Saturday 24th April
St.Ibars/Shelmaliers U.10 camogie continued on winning their ways with a well earned 6 – 1  to no score victory over Oylegate in Hollymount.  Early pressure on the Oylegate goal lead to two early goals by Ailis Neville and Mikaela Lanigan, the girls lead by 4 goals at half time with further goals by Mikaela and Catriona Kinsella.  A great long range point by Mikaela from midfield and goal from Sara O’Brien sealed a great team performance by the girls

u.10 v Oulart/The Ballagh
Saturday 1st May
U10 camogie team were defeated by a very strong Oulart team by 4 goals to 1 goal, with a strong performance by Oulart’s forward Eimear O Connor who scored 2 goals. It was a game where nothing went right, after conceding two early goals we lost two strong players in Sara Harding Kenny and Mikaela Lanigan through injury.  Although the girls never gave up the Oulart girls proved too strong a challenge on the day.

U. 10 v Cloughbawn
Wednesday 12th May
St Ibars U10 camogie got back to winning ways with an away victory in Cloughbawn by 6 goals to no score.  A number of changes by team Manager Paul when moving Sara H/Kenny to defence Mikaela to midfield and Kara Doyle to attack had an immediate effect with early goals from Ailis Neville, Cathriona Kinsella, Mikaela Lanigan and Aoife Fielding.  Two further 2nd half goals by Ailis sealed the win.  A strong defence of Hannah Hearne, Sara Whelan, Molly Byrne, Sara Harding Kenny and Aine Fitzgerald helped the Ibars keep a clean sheet.  All panel players were given a deserved run out in the 2nd half, well done again girls.
