National Camogie League Division 1 & 2 Finals
Division 1: Wexford v Kilkenny
Division 2: Wexford v Offaly
Saturday April 24th 2010
To: Wexford Camogie Clubs
Firstly I would like to congratulate everyone involved in Wexford Camogie on your county teams fantastic achievement in reaching the Division 1 and 2 Finals for the second year in succession. Wexford Camogie teams continue to be at the top of the game and a force to be reckoned with and this is due to the great work that is happening at club and county board level. Thank you to each and every officer, coach, mentor and official involved with each of your clubs.
Saturday April 24th is a big day for Wexford Camogie. With this in mind I would like to invite all clubs to bring the young players in your clubs to support YOUR team in the Division 1 and 2 National Camogie League Finals on Saturday 24th April in SEMPLE STADIUM. Every young person under the age of 16 will be admitted to the game FREE OF CHARGE. It is a fantastic opportunity, not only to see two Wexford teams in action in a national final but also to bring young children to Semple Stadium, one of the finest stadiums in the country.
The Camogie Association recently launched its Development Plan “Camogie – Our Game, Our Passion.” One of the goals in this plan is to increase support for our own games and increase attendances at matches. So lets work together to get a big crowd to the Division 1 and 2 National Camogie League Finals – Book that bus, mobilize the troops and get to Semple Stadium to support your camogie stars and witness them on their journey to winning Wexford’s back to back Division 1 and 2 National Camogie League titles!
Keep up to date with previews of the final, team news and other camogie news on www.camogie.ie or join us on facebook.
Good to luck to Wexford in the finals and we look forward to seeing you there.
