Families of 1910 Men Reunion

The great achievement of the brave hurling men from Castlebridge on Sunday 20th November 1910 at Jones Road Dublin will be forever etched in the annals of both local and national history, when they won Wexford’s very first All Ireland hurling title.

In order to commemorate and recognise the centenary of this great historic occasion the Shelmalier GAA Club has planned an ambitious programme of events throughout the year.

As part of the overall programme the club is holding a special ‘Families of the 1910 Men’ on Saturday 20th March in Hotel Curracloe starting at 8pm This will be the first occasion that  all the families and relations of the ‘men of 1910’ will come together under one roof.

The night will  present each person with a unique opportunity to meet and chat with their extended family and relations. There will also be an interesting display of sporting and other items from the1910 period.
