Shels into Jim Byrne Final

smShels had a good win over a determined Duffry Rovers in Coolree last Sunday morning and will now contest the final.

Duffry started the stronger and pointed twice before Glen Murphy put Shels ahead with a well taken goal. Cian Lambe goaled moments later and from then Shels never looked back. James Gordon, Johnny Campbell and Aidan Cash were working hard in mid field, whilst Stephen Corrigan, Shane Griffith and Feargal Hynes were making plenty of space for themselves. A late surge by Duffry saw the defence being called on and they were not found wanting. Shane Birney making an excellent save when Duffry were awarded a penalty. Final score 3-7 to 1-5.Amongst those to shine were Simon & Glen Murphy in attack, whilst Neil Rossiter, Niall Murphy, Dean Corrigan and Conor Tobin were staunch in defence.
