Our Junior team lost by the smallest of margins to Monageer for their opening game of the league which was played away on Sunday evening last.
Shels were leading by 8 points at half time when Monageer scored two quick goals on the resumption and got completely back in the game. Final Score Monageer 3-4 to Shels 0-12.
Noel Mythen and Jonathon Breslin were staunch in the full back line; Brian Tobin was in full command at mid field, with Brian Doyle & James Gordon leading the forwards in attack.
