THE NOMINEES for the Purple and Gold Stars have been announced, with the teams to be revealed at a function in White's Hotel on Friday week, November 28, at 7.30 p.m.
There is an added dimension this year as camogie and ladies football have been included in the scheme for the first time, so the grand total of four top fifteens will be selected and presented with special awards.
Shelmaliers are well represented with Michelle Doyle, Maeve Quill, Nicki Scallan, Leona Tector, Michelle Hearne, Tara Moloney and Kate Kelly recieveing nominations. Kate and Michelle have also recieved nominations for Camoige aswell.
