A Ladies Gaelic Football Rules Seminar will be held in Ferrycarrig Hotel on Friday 11th April 2008 commencing at 8.30pm. The Seminar will take approx 2 hours.
This Seminar is designed for Referees, Umpires, Linespersons, Players, Team Management and
Administrators, so that there will be uniformity and consistency in the application of the Ladies Football
Playing Rules.
A Directive from Ladies Gaelic Football Congress.
That Ladies Football Clubs and County Board’s appoint only referees who have attended a recognised Seminar and Rules Course of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association. This directive is given to protect the Association and players in the event of an injury.
Clubs must send their mentors so that they are up to date with the Playing Rules of Ladies Gaelic Football.
County Team Managers and Selectors are obliged to attend this Seminar.
A fine of €100 will be imposed on Clubs whose managers and Selectors do not attend.
