David Walsh, Poulsac, and Brian Malone Oldtown start on Wexford Senior team V Down
Brian, started at centre back and David started at corner back when Wexford met Down in the third round of the league in Wexford Park last Sunday Both played with distinction and were instrumental in helping Wexford overcome the Northern Ireland team. Final score 2-8 to 0-9.
Minor Joe Kelly, Screen, was on the victorious WIT panel who won the Fitzgibbon cup in Cork outright. Joe, in his first year with the college will surely feature many more times over the next few years in this prestigious competition.
Jim Byrne Quiz.
The fund raising quiz in aid of the Easter trip for the victorious minor team was a great success and we would like to thank most sincerely those who supported the quiz in any way. Gerry Forde quiz master, Senan Lillis question setter and Kathleen Dooley for putting the sponsorship/answer pack professionally together, also, Freddie and his staff.

There were 9 match 3 winners in the club Lotto. Matty O’Gordon, Mag Rath, A&B Neville, Stephen Kelly, S Harding/Kenny, Nat Roche, B&K O’Connor, Emmet O’Leary, Dan Morris. Each receive €38.
