Best Wishes to Michelle Hearne

In the space of seven days Michelle Hearne heads back  to Citywest as this dual jewel is  nominated for a Football All Star.
This is a remarkable achievement by all accounts to recieve Two nominations for All Star awards in both Camogie and Ladies Football, all in the one year. It Just highlights the impact that Michelle has on any team that she plays with and the commitment and dedication that she gives to both sports.

Unfortunately Michelle was unsuccessful in her bid for a camogie allstar last weekend but hopefully she may fair better in Citywest on saturday night next.

2007 was undoubtably a fine year for Michelle she was instrumental in ensuring that The Datapac Wexford  team reached the Division 2 Final earlier in the year and was indeed one fo the few players to stand out on that day. Michelle also picked up the player of the match award in the Leinster Final, she countined her season and helped ensure that Wexford reached the All Ireland Final.  Michelle also had the honor of captaining the Club team This year to victory in the County Final, to bring the Noel Quill cup home for the first time in 3 years.

Mcihelle has been a replacement All star on three previous occasions.

During this time Michelle was also busy helping Wexford Camogie reclaim the All Ireland title, a title that they last held in 1975, and lining out for Club teams in both camogie and ladies Football.

She is a remarkable sportswoman and Person. Everyone in the club would like to wish Michelle the very best of luck on saturday night we are very proud of your achievements.
