Shelmalier Minor team were unfortunate to Lose out by a single point to Neighbours Ballymurn in the U18 Sheild Competition.
The game was played in Ballymurn underlights on friday Last.
Ballymurn hit a brace of goals early in the first half to put an 8 point Margin Between the teams 4-3 to 1-4. Shelmalier to their credit never gave up the fight and leveled the game and went into a one point lead. Ballymurn replied with too late points to steal victory. This was a very young team from Shelmalier who battled their hearts out to the very end.
