The Purple & Gold Camogie Convoy

The Purple & Gold Camogie Convoy

Sunday next sees the Purple and Gold of Wexford senior camogie grace the soil of Croke Park. After a great Kilkenny success in Croke Park last weekend, hopes are high that the camogie final will also light up the sporting arena. All in the south east are backing the Wexford ladies to bring back the silver wear.
St Ibars/Shalmlaier camogie club is well represented with Kate Kelly, Michelle Hearne and Bridget Curran on the panel and Mag Kelly and Shelly Doyle are on the extended panel.
Kate Kelly will line out in midfield on Sunday and Michelle Hearne will start in the full forward line. Brigid Curran made a great impact when introduced in the semi finals and will be sure to feature before the game ends.
The club will be running a bus to the match on Sunday. The bus leaves Hollymount at 9.15 sharp at a cost of €5 for students and €10 for adults. Tickets for the match will be on sale at the turnstiles costing €20 for adults and €10 for students, and €5 for children. To book your place on the bus, please contact Sharon Drennan (087-6295641) or Peggy Kelly (053-9137126).
The post match banquet will be held in the Stillorgan Park Hotel on Sunday night.
Hollymount has been decked out in the purple and gold to support the girls and the road signs are appearing. Please support the girls and get the purple and gold flying high.
