Shelmalier Senior Team Captain Announced.
The Captain for the Senior Team for 2007 is Michelle Hearne, Vice Captain is Leona Tector.
As in keeping with Club Policy the team Captain was voted on before the Championship match V St. Fintans. This is a deomocratic decision which involves players and Team Management alike.
A vote is taken for Captain followed by a second vote for Vice Captain.
Michelle takes over this roll from 2006 Captain Catherine Doyle,
Congratulations and best wishes to both girls and the team for the coming season and hopefully Michelle will have the honor of bringing the Noel Quill Memorial Cup home this year.
